Rock Paper Scissors Tournament - Round 2 - May 17

April 28, 2017 by Elizabeth Fortune

Imagine yourself, years from now, telling your friends and family the awesome story about that time on you were crowned a Rock Paper Scissors Champion. You'll be able to tell them about the awesome prizes you won and how you were congratulated on the streets by throngs of adoring fans. (Ok, that last part might be a stretch).

Are you ready for some fun? The first Rock Paper Scissors Tournament was so much fun we had to do it again!

The Lymphomaniac Society will host another Rock Paper Scissors Tournament at Flyway Brewing on Wednesday, May 17. The event will be the second tournament hosted by the nonprofit organization after the initial tournament was held last month.

Whitney Croy, pictured above left at the first tournament in April, was crowned the champion of our first tournament, and she took home some awesome prizes. In addition to the bragging rights of being named Rock Paper Scissors Champion (pretty cool, huh), she also won a rock (literally, a rock), a note pad (paper) and a pair of scissors (scissors). She also received a variety of prizes from Flyway Brewing.

The next tournament will be held on May 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Flyway Brewing, which is located at 314 Maple Street in North Little Rock. The entry fee is $10 and the proceeds go to benefit the Lymphomaniac Society, which provides respite trips to cancer survivors.

Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the brewery on the night of the event. Prizes will be awarded to finalists and the champion.

For more information, contact Griffin Coop at griffin@lymphomaniac.org.
